The Safety Professional role is primarily responsible for providing technical safety and health-related support to DT Midstream Operations and projects personnel to foster a Safety-First culture.
A Safety Professional I will perform most of these duties at an entry level.
- Administer and maintain existing safety & health programs, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare safety-related reports and presentations.
- Develop and present safety related training and educational programs.
- Interact with project site personnel to ensure compliance with regulations and DTM’s expectations.
- Assist in the administration of industrial hygiene-related activities.
- Operate a company vehicle and use other means of travel to reach locations safely.
- Provide day-to-day support for third-party inspection personnel.
- Conduct Vendor safety pre-qualification analysis.
- Support Operations to develop and provide pre-shutdown deliverables.
- Support Operations Safety Committee.
- Conduct investigations for events involving DTM and Contractor personnel.
- Provide deliverables for pre-bid and pre-construction meetings.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s in Occupational Safety & Health
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Leve II - 3 years' experience
- Master’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health
- Certifications (CSP, ASP, OHST, etc.)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to function in a matrix organization in which functional and business leaders have equal authority within the organization and employees report to both a functional leader and a business leader.
- Desire to develop and maintain productive relationships for the purpose of strengthening the company’s safety culture.
