H2S Safety Technician

H2S Safety Technician Canon Safety/RHI Group is looking for experienced H2S Safety Technicians to join our dynamic team in the Ark-La-Tex Region.

ONLY EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED- must have oil and gas experience in drilling, completions or production roles.

Job Description:

H2S Safety Supervisor/Technician are responsible for monitoring work locations for existing or potential hazardous substances, including H2S (Hydrogen Sulfide) and LEL, as well as others.

- Responsible for providing on-site supervision of air monitoring equipment on drilling and completion locations, as well as supervising workers using respiratory protection.

- Technician will also be responsible for "rig up" and "rig down" of equipment.

- Responsible for Calibrations, Testing, Inspection of Air Equipment, along with shop work

- Provide H2S Awareness Training and Fit Testing, as needed

Requirements: 2+ years H2S or Oil & Gas Experience,Good driving record, High School Diploma or GED, Good communication skills, Must be physically able to perform daily duties- including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Candidate MUST have truck capable of towing equipment- Employee Vehicle Allowance & Fuel Card Provided. Vehicle Allowance is $1,750 per month. We do not provide company vehicles.

Job Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt (Overtime Eligible)

Pay: Dependent on experience, hourly rate and living in region.

Shift: Hiring for Day, Evening and Overnight Shifts Overnight Travel may be required for some projects based on drive time or schedule.

- Multiple Locations, Texas, supporting East Texas, Southern Arkansas and Northeastern Louisiana projects.

Required education:

- High school or equivalent
