The Safety/EHS Specialist is responsible for assisting with planning, developing, administering and implementation of safety programs across Eastern Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

- Audits & Risk Assessments: Conduct and/or direct operational audits and assessments as required

- Enforce and Update Policies: Ensure policies and procedures are established, prepared, implemented, revised, and maintained to meet current and known future requirements

- Safety Support: Provide leadership for developing and directing safety initiatives

- Compliance Standards: Support sites to ensure compliance with customer, corporate, governmental, and third-party safety, and environmental standards.

- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience as a safety professional

- A diploma in Health and Safety from an accredited college or university

- Experience with ISO 14001 and 45001 considered an asset

Compensation: $65,000-$80,000 CAD
