Performs duties such as, assisting Journeyman Die makers with die build tasks, supports tryout activities. Can be used to help run panels in the press line. Other tasks include painting; cleaning, helping unload trucks, distribute incoming supplies, sweeping floors, emptying trashcans and scrap hoppers and other housekeeping activities.
· Assist in loading and unloading of trucks.
· Help with part runs in tryout and lasers
· Organizes castings and other materials as directed
· Assist as needed in preparation of shipments.
· Distribute inventory at direction of shipping manager.
· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time hourly position ranging between 40 - 56 hours per week based on workload. Regular work week is Monday through Friday. Saturdays and Sundays are scheduled based on workload of the shop.
This job operates in a shop floor environment. This role routinely uses large machines and tools throughout the shop floor.
