Field Service Technician

Ohio Gas Company is seeking individuals to join our team as a Service Technicians in the Fulton and Henry county areas. This position helps to ensure a safe and reliable supply of natural gas to our customers.

Responsibilities Include:

- Locating and protecting natural gas utility lines

- Construction clean-up

- Installing meter sets

- Collecting data using GPS and GIS technology

- Handling delinquent bill collections

- Responding to emergency situations such as possible gas or carbon monoxide leaks

Requirements Include:

- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions

- Mechanical ability

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Proficient computer use

- Prior HVAC or underground construction experience a plus

- High school diploma/GED

- Valid driver's license required with record that permits company insurance coverage

Must reside or be willing to relocate to location within the our service area for emergency response purposes.

This position is covered by Department of Transportation workplace drug and alcohol testing requirements.

Job training is provided.
