Foran Mining Corporation (TSX:FOM) is a forward-thinking mining company redefining the industry. We are seeking a Environment Coordinator to join our growing McIlvenna Bay team. This is a full-time position based at the McIlvenna Bay site working a 14/14 rotation.

As part of the Safety, Health & Environment Team, Environment Coordinator position provides day to day technical guidance and support to the McIlvenna Bay site on environmental matters through guidance, coaching, mentoring and oversight. This includes adherence to environmental permit and approval requirements, environmental legislation requirements, and the implementation of site-specific environmental management plans and associated procedures and work instructions.
- Guide, mentor, and support Environment Technicians, ensuring quality work and professional development.
- Support day-to-day operations of the Environment department for regulatory compliance and efficiency.
- Fill in for Environment Technician duties when required.
- Act as a point of contact for regulatory interaction on environmental matters, ensuring professional communication and timely follow-up.
- Provide technical support to the site on environmental issues, including interpretation of regulations, permit conditions, and company standards.
- Ensure site compliance with relevant legislation, operating approvals, and environmental management practices through planning, guidance, training, and oversight.
- Plan, develop, and implement Environmental Management Plans, procedures, and work instructions.
- Assist in the preparation of high-quality technical environmental reports, memos, compliance submissions, and online reports required under regulatory and permit conditions.
- Leads the completion of quality assurance and quality control activities for all environmental inspection and monitoring data including integration into applicable systems.
- Track and manage environmental compliance schedules, permit deadlines, and reporting requirements.
- Lead environmental incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
- Analyze monitoring data for trends, anomalies, and compliance issues, and recommend improvements
- As needed, assist with permitting application packages and supporting documentation.
- Assist with development of environmental monitoring and permitting schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate and manage consultants or contractors engaged to support compliance or permitting activities.
- Plan and deliver environmental training to employees, contractors, and service providers.
- Participate in meetings and field inspections with company personnel, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies as required.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in environmental programs, monitoring systems, and compliance processes.
- Champions environmental issues through proactive leadership and positive influence

- Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering, or diploma in environment with equivalent experience.
- Professional designation (P.Eng, P.Geo, P.Ag) or eligibility to become a Qualified Person under the Saskatchewan Environment Code.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the environmental industry, ideally within the mining or heavy industrial sector.
- Understanding of provincial and federal environmental legislation, regulations, standards and guidelines applicable to the mining industry in Saskatchewan.
- Experience with environmental data management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills, with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Detail-oriented, with initiative and the ability to work independently.
- Adaptable and effective in managing shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player with experience coordinating across departments, contractors, and regulatory bodies.

We offer a competitive starting salary range of $95,000 - $110,000/year based on experience and qualifications. Annual discretionary short term incentive award at a percentage of base salary, rewarding exceptional contributions to team and company success.
