About the Role

As our operations advance toward steady-state production, we are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Environmental Projects and Permitting Coordinator to support environmental management and permitting activities at the Bralorne Gold Mine. Reporting to the Environmental Superintendent, this role will work closely with the Environmental and Communications Advisor and Environmental Technicians on all environmental program implementations to meet current and future programs and permitting needs.

The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of BC’s mining, water, and environmental regulatory frameworks (e.g., Mines Act, Environmental Management Act), along with practical experience supporting permitting, compliance, and environmental field programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide support and guidance on local, provincial, and federal environmental requirements (e.g., Mines Act, Environmental Management Act, Water Sustainability Act).

- Coordinate and integrate information from multidisciplinary technical teams and consultants to support permitting processes and regulatory submissions.

- Review materials and applications for adequacy and completeness prior to submission to regulatory agencies.

- Develop, update, and implement environmental management plans for monitoring, data collection, and reporting.

- Compile and integrate content for reports and regulatory documents, supporting permit applications as needed.

- Ensure ongoing compliance with permit conditions and environmental monitoring requirements.

- Support environmental fieldwork, including Field work, data collection, QA/QC, lab coordination, and equipment maintenance.

- Participate in meetings with regulators, Indigenous partners, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Undergraduate degree or higher in Environmental Science, Earth Science, Biology, or a related discipline.

- Minimum 2–5 years of experience supporting environmental programs in mining, resource development, or industrial sectors.

- Knowledge of environmental permitting and compliance under BC mining and water legislation.

- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.

- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint/OneDrive, and Teams.

- Valid driver’s licence and ability to be insured on company policy.

- Eligible to work in Canada (does not require sponsorship)

Preferred Assets

- Experience with environmental field programs, water monitoring, reclamation, or construction monitoring.

- Previous success working in a mine or remote camp environment.

- Experience drafting and editing technical documents and regulatory submissions.

- Familiarity with Indigenous consultation processes and relationship-building in a regulatory context.

Additional Details:

Work Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off

Accommodation & Meals: Provided at no cost during rotation Compensation Range: CA$35.00-CA$40.00 per hour depending on experience
