Engineering Drawing Checker

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Checker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and verifying design documents and drawings for accuracy and compliance with project specifications. This role requires proficiency in various design software and a strong understanding of mechanical & structural design, drafting, fabrication and construction processes.

Responsibilities

- Review and validate design documents, schematics, and drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements.

- Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD and other CAD applications to perform checks on designs.

- Collaborate with engineers and designers to resolve discrepancies or issues found during the checking process.

- Maintain organized records of checked documents and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

- Assist in the development of quality control procedures for design documentation.

Experience

- Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD and Inventor is a plus.

- Strong background in design and drafting with an understanding of construction processes.

- Experience in creating and reviewing schematics.

- Familiarity with 2D animation concepts is a plus.
