Electrical Foreman

H. R. Allen, Inc. is an experienced electrical and mechanical contractor serving customers in South Carolina and other southeastern states for almost 40 years. We have four office locations in South Carolina to include; Charleston, Columbia, Greenville and Conway.

Our Charleston, SC office is looking to hire an experienced Commercial Electrical Foreman to join our staff to work on projects in the Charleston, SC area. Many of the projects we work on are new commercial construction, ground up projects and up-fits.

Foreman should have at least 3 - 5 years of experience. Directly responsible to the Project Manager for leading and working along with a 4 to 6 person crew consisting of Journeymen and/or apprentices/helpers.

We are looking for a candidate that is ready to work and plans on working each day. We are looking for a local candidate to the Charleston, SC area as we are not paying per diem.

Essential Functions of Foreman:

- Coordinating with the Project Manager, schedule work for crew members.

- Exercising first line supervisory responsibilities for assigned workers.

- Completes required administrative paperwork and coding including time sheets, and written disciplinary forms.

- Completes required project paperwork and coding.

- Initiates and monitors safety program.

- Demonstrates efficient knowledge of the trade.

- Coordinates with other trades.

- Prepares detailed drawings.

- Coordinates with General Contractor.

Candidates MUST be experienced and must be able to pass a drug screen. These are full time positions, not temporary. We offer benefits and vacation pay!
