Overview
Seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead and mentor an 8-person sales team, driving growth across corporate, social, and nonprofit accounts. This role will serve as a brand ambassador, representing the company in client meetings, networking events, and proposal development. The Sales Manager will work cross-functionally with culinary and operations teams to ensure seamless execution, while also overseeing CRM management, sales reporting, forecasting, and marketing alignment.
Responsibilities
•Develop and implement strategic plans to grow catering sales and expand market presence.
•Manage all aspects of catering operations, including menu planning, event coordination, and staff management.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and account management.
•Lead a team of catering professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance.
•Negotiate contracts with clients and vendors to secure favorable terms for the company.
•Collaborate with marketing teams to promote catering services and drive business development initiatives.
•Monitor industry trends to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation in catering services.
•Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all catering operations.
Experience
•Proven experience in technical sales, outside sales, or technology sales within the hospitality or catering industry is preferred.
•Strong background in account management with a focus on customer service excellence.
•Demonstrated success in business development and achieving sales targets.
•Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
•Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing beneficial agreements.
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
