Director of Marketing
to lead our growth, lifecycle, and demand generation efforts across both ecommerce and subscription business models.
As the
Director of Marketing
, you’ll own
customer acquisition, retention, and revenue optimization
. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll shape strategy, build systems, grow a team, and drive measurable business outcomes.
What You’ll Do
Growth & Acquisition
•Own and execute a full-funnel growth strategy to scale customer acquisition, conversion, and monetization.
•Lead digital performance marketing across paid search, paid social, affiliate, SEO, influencers, and emerging channels.
•Develop and optimize pricing, promotional strategies, and ecommerce funnel performance to drive both conversion and revenue.
•Manage the digital storefront experience to improve funnel metrics and reduce drop-off at every stage.
Lifecycle & Retention
•Build and scale lifecycle marketing programs (email, push, SMS, in-app messaging) that enhance customer onboarding, engagement, and loyalty.
•Segment users and create personalized journeys that increase retention, upsell, and reduce churn.
•Establish and improve retention metrics, including engagement health scores and win-back campaigns.
Analytics & Optimization
•Develop and own KPIs across CAC, LTV, ARPU, conversion, churn, and engagement.
•Lead structured experimentation and A/B testing across the marketing stack, landing pages, creative, pricing, and messaging.
•Partner with Product and Data teams to build performance dashboards and support attribution modeling.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Work
•Build and manage a high-performing team across performance, lifecycle, ecommerce, and growth ops.
•Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Design, and Analytics to execute initiatives that enhance user growth and retention.
•Manage agency relationships and scale internal processes to support rapid execution.
What We’re Looking For
•10+ years of experience in DTC, SaaS, or mobile product businesses, with 5+ years in a growth, marketing, or revenue leadership role.
•Proven track record of scaling paid marketing and lifecycle programs that drive revenue.
•Expertise in marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., Hubspot, Klaviyo, Braze).
•Deep understanding of ecommerce and subscription funnels, acquisition through retention.
•Strong analytical skills; familiar with tools like Google Analytics, Looker, Amplitude, or SQL.
•A strategic thinker with the ability to execute and a passion for experimentation and iteration.
•Experience managing agencies and cross-functional stakeholders.
