Diesel Apprentice Program Details: The Apprentice Program is competency-based, meaning there is no set time for the program to last. During this time, the following tools will be utilized to support the on-the-job learning experience:

- Competency List - The Competency list will show what you have completed and what you still need to learn.

- Internal Training – “In-house” training led by competent mechanics while you are in the program.

- Manufacturer Training - You will have the opportunity, schedule willing, to attend manufacturer training.

- Mentoring - You will always work under a mentor or senior mechanic. This person will help you learn and understand the trade and the industry .

- Reviews - You will schedule quarterly reviews with your leadership team. This will give you the time to review your performance and achievements.

Once you have completed all of the competencies and completed 144 hours of classroom training per year, you will be promoted out of the Apprentice Program.

Mechanical Skills. Must have some knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.
