Diesel Mechanic

Diesel Mechanic – Omega, Oklahoma

This position will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and overall maintenance of our crude oil hauling fleet in the Omega, Oklahoma area.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Trouble shooting and technical diagnosis of truck performance problems

- Skilled repair and maintenance of engines, motors, and related assemblies

- Tracking and executing routine fleet maintenance

- Ensuring required documentation is complete and in compliance with regulations and standards

- Helping maintain appearance and safety standards of equipment and facilities

- Supporting efficient maintenance department operations by performing duties such as inventory, stocking, and other general functions

- Following all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules

- Attending staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required

- Performing additional tasks as needed to provide a safe, clean environment and assist in meeting production demands of other departments

Preferred Candidate Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED equivalent

- Minimum of 3 years diesel mechanic experience

- Knowledge of DOT inspection standards

- Strong judgment, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

- Outstanding work ethic and initiative

- Effective verbal communication skills

- Availability on weekends and evenings
