About the Role

This position is one of the most important roles in our company.

The Customer Service/HVAC CAM Programmer is the key connection between our customers, shop, and shipping team. You’ll take incoming orders, clarify job details, communicate updates, enter orders accurately into our systems, and help keep production running smoothly.

When this role is done well, customers are taken care of, the shop has what it needs, and jobs move out the door on time.

This is not a “sit back and wait” role. We are looking for someone who is proactive, responsive, detail-oriented, and ready to own their responsibilities each day.

What You’ll Do

- Serve as a primary point of contact for customer orders and requests

- Communicate with customers by phone and email in a professional, timely manner

- Ask questions and clarify missing job details before problems happen

- Enter orders accurately into CAM / ERP systems

- Create clear production instructions for the shop

- Help prioritize and schedule daily production needs

- Follow up on open items and keep customers informed

- Work closely with production, shipping, and leadership teams

- Solve problems quickly and keep jobs moving

- Comfortable with computers, software, and learning new systems

- HVAC, construction, manufacturing, or sheet metal experience preferred

- CAM experience is a plus, but we can train the right person

The Zinger brothers were innovative and understood the value of installing prefabricated duct.
