M2 Mechanical is looking for a licensed and experienced HVACR Service Technician to join our team! We invest in our employees to grow together. We work to provide a culture of teamwork and are looking for hardworking, experienced and honest HVAC Technicians to join us.
We provide general HVAC maintenance, installation, repair, and service work for retail and commercial businesses. Some light refrigeration work.
You won't have to report to an office to get the van, our technicians are dispatched each day from their home. We pay you from the time you leave your home until you arrive back home at the end of the day, with a half hour lunch!!

Looking for at least 4 years relevant HVAC experience AND MUST possess an active Master Refrigeration license issued by the state of RI. - Have a proven understanding of Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on HVACR equipment. Goal to keep equipment operating to factory specifications and optimum condition. Be a mechanic not a parts replacer.
- Thoroughly complete all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ability to utilize necessary software to process paperwork (via Cell Phone/ iPad)
- Maintain the equipment and inventory in your truck for maximum efficiency
- Maintain any necessary licenses or certifications which may apply
- Clean drivers license and ability to safely operate company vehicle.
- Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time during a regular work day; use arms and hands to reach for, handle and manipulate objects; lift and carry materials weighing 75 pounds; climb up and down ladders, scaffolds, and other climbing devices; carry tools and equipment; work while in stooped, kneeling, crouched and crawling positions, be able to see naturally or with correction, to safely perform designated tasks.
- Perform assigned tasks under all types of environmental and weather conditions including severe cold, extreme heat, wet or dry weather and high winds.
- MUST possess an active Master Refrigeration license issued by the state of RI.
- Minimum of 4 years applicable HVAC and HVAC/R work experience AND
- Refrigeration and/or Gas Fitters licenses from MA and NH AND
- Up to date certifications and licensing is required. OSHA and EPA certified.
- Ability to pay attention to detail, read and follow directions, reliable, dependable, ethical, able to provide great customer service, excellent communication skills while on-site or on the phone speaking with customers.
- Exhibit professional appearance and conduct at all times, whether talking to colleagues, at the job site or driving company vehicles.
- Adhere to strict safety guidelines and safety program.
- Able to safely climb ladders to access roof top units.
- Work independently on diverse equipment including but not limited to roof top units, split systems, air handlers, unit heaters, and EMS, reach in coolers, freezers, etc., all in commercial locations.
- Troubleshoot and perform corrective service repairs and maintenance work on HVACR equipment. Perform scheduled tasks and respond to HVACR service calls.
