Content Creator & Social Media Manager

Job Description

APEX Rope Industries Inc. is a provider of rope access, high-angle rescue, confined space services, and industry training across Western Canada. We have recently opened a purpose-built work-at-height and rescue training facility and are looking for a Content Creator & Social Media Manager to help promote our brand, people, and training programs.

This role focuses on hands-on content creation and day-to-day management of our social media platforms.

Responsibilities

- Create photo and video content for social media and marketing use

- Capture content during training courses, facility use, and select field operations

- Edit short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn video)

- Manage and schedule posts on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook

- Write professional captions aligned with our brand and industry

- Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar

- Monitor engagement and performance metrics

- Coordinate with management to plan upcoming content

Requirements

- Experience in social media management and content creation

- Strong photography and video skills (camera or high-quality mobile)

- Video editing experience (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar)

- Strong written communication skills

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

- Comfortable working in industrial and training environments

- Reliable transportation for occasional on-site work

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in industrial, construction, or trades-based marketing

- Familiarity with rope access, rescue, or work-at-height industries

- Drone photography/videography experience

- Basic graphic design skills (Canva or Adobe suite)
