Cyclone Bolt is not looking for a traditional “marketing” hire.
We’re looking for a storyteller — someone who can capture real moments, turn them into compelling content, and help the world understand who Cyclone is and what we do.
Cyclone is the brand. Our people are the story. You are the lens.
This is a behind-the-camera, execution-first role focused on content creation, editing, and publishing across social platforms. The right person loves being in the action, documenting momentum, and turning everyday work into high-credibility content.
What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)Content Creation & Storytelling
- Capture photo and video content daily from:
- Shop floor
- Office
- Trade shows
- Events

- Turn raw footage into narratives that build credibility and trust
- Edit short-form video (Reels, Shorts, Stories)
- Edit longer-form video for YouTube bi-weekly
- Write captions, hooks, and descriptions aligned with platform best practices
- Publish consistently across:
- YouTube
- Optimize for algorithms, cadence, hashtags, and engagement
- Keep Cyclone as the hero — not yourself
- Highlight people and work, not personal branding
- Protect brand credibility, professionalism, and tone
- Appear on camera only when appropriate (voiceover, context, occasional appearance)

- Social channels stay active, consistent, and professional

- Proven content creation experience (portfolio required)
- Strong video editing skills (mobile + desktop)- Strong sense of storytelling and narrative structure
- Understanding of social media algorithms and best practices
- Comfortable filming people and environments in real time
- Able to work fast, independently, and without constant direction
- Comfortable in industrial / manufacturing environments
- Professional judgment — knows what not to post
- Able to work a variety of camera equipment, mics, drones, video editing software
To avoid confusion, this role is not:
- A marketing coordinator
- A brand strategist
- A social media “influencer”
- A personal brand-building opportunity
- A remote content curator relying on others for footage
This role requires presence, immersion, and execution.
- Full-time, in-office role (Houston)
- Regular exposure to shop floor and operations
- Travel required for:
- Trade shows
- Events
- Company trips (including international travel)
- Flexibility may be earned over time based on performance and consistency
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Clear expectations
- 90-day evaluation period
- Growth opportunity as the content function scales
- Resume
- Portfolio or examples of content you personally created
- Brief note answering:“Would you rather tell the story, or be the story — and why?”
If you’re energized by capturing real work, telling authentic stories, and making a serious company look as strong as it actually is — this role will feel natural.
If you’re looking to grow a personal following or be the face of a brand, this role is not a fit.
