ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
•Develop internal and external communications and marketing materials such as memos, procedures, policies, press releases, advertisements, posters, rider alerts, pamphlets, brochures, and schedules.
•Identify communication needs to develop, coordinate, implement, and manage strategies and goals to inform and engage employees and stakeholders.
•Prepare communications, correspondence, and presentations as directed.
•Establish and maintain working relationships with community organizations/agencies.
•Coordinate Authority presence at various community events.
•Conduct presentations on Authority services.
•Create, execute, and market various events designed to increase awareness of Authority services.
•Review, update, and oversee the Authority's website and social media accounts.
•Interact with passengers and drivers to gather ideas and strategies to improve Authority services and the other customer experience.
•Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
•Preforms other duties as required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIANCE:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course wok in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three to five (3-5) years' experience in communications, marketing, or general business.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILTIES:
•Strong written and oral communication skills.
•Strong organizational and time management skills ability to prioritize.
•Advanced computer skills on MS Office including MS Word and Excel.
•Flexible working schedule as needed to attend community events and meetings.
•High attention to detail and accuracy.
•Ability to multi-task, be flexible, and adapt to change quickly.
•Well-organized and self-directed who is a team player.
•Must possess a valid PA drivers' License.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Requires the use of a computer and some travel to events, seminars, and government offices may require overnight stays and the ability to occasionally lift 25-30lbs.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Typical office conditions. Travel between WCTA Locations and surrounding areas. Requires the use of a computer.
