Are you a communicator with a passion for storytelling and strategic messaging? We are looking for a Communications Coordinator to help shape how we share our story, both internally and externally.

Taseko is also advancing the Florence Copper Project in Arizona – a near-term copper producer with an unparalleled energy, water, and GHG profile per unit of production. Florence Copper is a unique ‘in-situ copper recovery’ project which, once operating, will significantly increase Taseko’s copper production.

The Yellowhead Project is a large, long-life copper project located in the Thompson-Nicola region of BC. The Company is currently preparing to initiate the provincial and federal Environmental Assessment process for Yellowhead, while advancing technical and other work required to move the project towards production.

Taseko’s strategy is to grow the company sustainably and profitably through developing our pipeline of high-quality mineral assets in North America. We are looking for qualified applicants who are interested in joining our team.

Role Overview

The Communications Coordinator supports the planning, development, and execution of internal and external communications. This role plays a vital part in bringing to life the Company's brand, values, and initiatives through clear, consistent messaging across multiple channels.

Report to the Manager, Corporate Affairs, the Communications Coordinator develops content, supports employee engagement, manages digital platforms, and assists with internal and external events. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer and communicator who is organized, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a dynamic Communications and Corporate Affairs department.
