Responsible for supporting their assigned geography’s most profitable Commercial accounts, the Commercial Retention Representative (CRR) will maintain a positive relationship with their customer base. The core function of the CRR is to cultivate strong relationships with each of their customers so that the customer remains with Superior Plus for the long term.

What you’ll do:
- A team player, the Customer Retention Representative (CRR) will also provide general support to your assigned geography in regards to Commercial Customer issues, collaborating consistently and frequently with the Field Operations Team and other internal departments in order to retain customer business and reduce churn.
- Support the seamless transition of new customers sold by Superior’s Outside Sales Team into the existing business portfolio.
- Contact assigned customer list on a consistent basis, the CRR will log all information from each contact in multiple CRM tools for company visibility.
- Responsible for Commercial contract renewal negotiations and creation in your assigned geography, the CRR will look to enhance or maintain customer profitability while ensuring customer retention.
- Provide daily support and respond to any Net Promotor Score submissions from Commercial customers, while rectifying any potential issues from occurring in the future.
- Along with support from the Marketing Team, you will supplement outbound content initiatives with communication to customers that align with the message from mailers, emails, bill inserts, and more.
- The CRR will be available for inbound customer support during non-working hours in an effort to align with our Commercial customer’s needs.
- The CRR will also support outbound resolution for leading indicators of customer attrition - out of gases, volume declines, cancellation requests and more.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Post secondary education or equivalent experience in business, sales or account management, customer experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer service, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Experience in CRM tools and platforms; Salesforce, ADDs, or other platforms would be considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask.
- Strong communication skills, written and interpersonal skills would be required.
- Ability to cultivate strong and enduring relationships with valued customers, while maintaining or enhancing profitability.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and address customer needs through a consultative approach, tailoring company products and services to fit the customers needs while considering brand loyalty, operational efficiency, market intelligence, and revenue protection.
- Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.
The expected annual base salary range for this role is $55,000-65,000 a year.
