Remote Position Overview
We’re looking for a driven, proven Sales Representative to build and grow relationships across corporate and education customers. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a value-driven, solution-oriented environment and can position refurbished equipment and lifecycle services as smart, cost-effective alternatives to new.
- Develop and manage a territory (EDU) or assigned accounts (commercial)
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business for refurbished desktops, laptops, Chromebooks and related peripherals and services.
- Position 2NDGEAR’s ITAD, buyback, and lifecycle management solutions to address customer refresh cycles, sustainability initiatives, and budget constraints.
- Build strong ongoing relationships with procurement teams, IT directors, superintendents, and technology coordinators.
- Manage full sales cycle — discovery, needs analysis, quoting, pricing negotiation, and follow-through after delivery.
- Maintain accurate pipeline activities in CRM and forecast revenue with consistency.- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in IT hardware, VAR/reseller, secondary market, or EDU procurement.
- Familiarity with OEM products (HP, Dell, Lenovo, Newline, Acer) and refresh cycles.
- Experience selling into K-12/EDU or corporate IT environments is a plus.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce or similar) and comfort working in a fast-moving, inventory-driven environment.- Competitive base salary + commission
