# CNC Reliability & Controls Maintenance Lead
You start by checking overnight alerts in the MaintainX maintenance management system and scanning equipment logs for anomalies. An Okuma mill with a Fanuc-based controller throws an intermittent alarm—you isolate the failure mechanism, verify signals, and bring the machine back online with a targeted, cost-effective repair. Before lunch, you realign a Tsugami axis, balance a spindle component, and validate the fix with a precision calibration routine. Your afternoon is spent mentoring a junior tech on software diagnostics for a Fanuc Robodrill, then partnering with Engineering to prep tooling on a Northwood router and scope a small automation upgrade. You close the day by documenting time, actions, and calibrations so the next shift has a crystal-clear handoff.
We build advanced components from cutting-edge composites and thermoset materials for Automotive, Aviation, and Aerospace customers—industries that rely on absolute precision to push the boundaries of transportation and space exploration.
