The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining applications using the Microsoft Power Platform—Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI; supporting process‑automation needs through innovative workflow solutions; and working with clients to understand reporting requirements and communicate potential solutions.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

- Develop an understanding of SharePoint and MS SQL as backend platforms that support front‑end solutions developed in Power Apps.

- Host meetings with stakeholders to understand their work processes, automation opportunities, and reporting requirements.

- Communicate potential solutions to all relevant stakeholders.

- Design, build, and maintain Power Apps applications that support workflows, data entry, and operational processes.

- Develop Power Automate flows to automate business processes, notifications, data movement, and integrations with internal systems.

- Utilize Python to support data transformation, automation logic, and integration tasks when needed.

- Develop Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions for users to efficiently navigate and interpret required data.

- Develop and implement routine tests to preserve data integrity across Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI solutions.

- Triage errors and user expectation gaps and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues.


Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills And Abilities)

- Bachelor’s degree in related field required (Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering) required;

- Requires 1-5 years of Business Intelligence Reporting experience

- Microsoft Power Platform or similar certification preferred

- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Proven ability in preparing written communications

- Working knowledge Oracle Primavera preferred

- Requires the ability to manage multiple projects and determine priorities


Working Conditions

- Work is conducted in an office environment (Semi-Private Office)

- Interaction with other team members, as well as supervisors and client personnel

- May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis

- Must be able to lift and carry five (5) pounds

- Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities which permits employee to communicate effectively

- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
