ABOUT THE ROLE
The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for analyzing data to support business decision-making processes. This role involves creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations to provide insights into business performance and trends.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Gather, clean, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends and insights.
- Create detailed reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to present data in an accessible format.
- Design and develop visualizations to effectively communicate data findings to stakeholders.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates on business performance.
- Work closely with other departments to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by performing regular quality checks and validation.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
- Collaborate with individual department, as well as cross-functionally with other departments within the organization.
- Maintain organizational excellence in terms of project timelines and deliverables.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, data science, information technology, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in business intelligence or data analysis.
- Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and an ability to learn company-specific software programs, tools, processes, and machines.
- Skills/Attributes:
- Proficiency in analyzing data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Expertise in using business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SQL for report and dashboard creation.
- Skills in designing and developing visualizations to effectively communicate data findings.
- Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Experience in cleaning and preprocessing data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Advanced skills in using Excel for data analysis and visualization.
- Ability to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates on business performance.
- Strong communication skills to present data findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Self-motivated to work through complex problems and competing priorities, including a high level of detail and organization.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
