AIM Oilfield Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to drive growth within the Permian and Delaware Basins. Based in our Midland, TX office, this individual will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities for our oil and gas measurement services division. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of both gas and liquid measurement principles, industry standards, and have a proven track record of success in sales within this region. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills, capable of effectively engaging with key stakeholders across the territory.
● Actively identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities for AIM's oil and gas measurement services division within the Permian and Delaware Basins.
● Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
● Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at oil and gas operators and midstream companies within the target territory.
● Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and effectively communicate AIM's value proposition and solutions.
● Present technical information and proposals clearly and persuasively, demonstrating a strong understanding of gas and liquid measurement principles, technologies, and relevant industry standards (e.g., AGA, API).
● Collaborate closely with AIM's operations and technical teams to develop tailored solutions and ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
● Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and regulatory developments within the oil and gas measurement sector in the Permian and Delaware Basins.
● Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, manage leads, and provide accurate forecasting.
● Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build relationships and generate leads.
● Provide regular reports on sales activities, progress against targets, and market insights to management.
● Represent AIM Oilfield Services professionally and ethically at all times.
● Be willing to travel frequently throughout the Permian and Delaware Basins to meet with clients and prospects.
● Minimum of 3 years of proven sales or business development experience within the oil and gas industry, with a specific focus on measurement services (gas and liquid).
● Strong technical understanding of gas and liquid measurement principles, technologies, and industry standards.
● Established network of contacts and a strong understanding of the key players within the Permian and Delaware Basins.
● Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
● Demonstrated ability to develop and close sales opportunities.
● Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
● Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
● Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical), Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent, proven experience in the oil & gas measurement industry will also be considered.
● Frequent travel (at least bi-weekly) throughout the Permian Basin (TX) and Delaware Basin (NM) is required to meet with prospects and existing customers.
● Occasional travel for industry events and internal meetings may also be required.
● This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
