The Business Development Representative is responsible for executing the day-to-day business development activities and delivering on the strategic business targets for the company. In addition to that, this individual is expected to drive forward the aims of the company and enhance its public and professional profile.
Job Responsibilities:
•Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions.
•Promote the company’s products and/or services to prospective clients.
•Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders.
•Generate leads through high-volume cold outreach, networking events, and long-term relationship building.
•Review sales contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines.
•Interact with clients and respond to important inquiries about the company’s products and/or services.
•Uphold Western Land Services’ Core values in all aspects of work.
•Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities:
•Proven record of sales growth.
•Experience in customer service, marketing, or a sales-related field.
•Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques.
•Clear verbal and written communication skills.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
•Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential.
Required Education & Experience:
•Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, or a similar field.
•4+ years of sales experience or equivalent experience.
Additional Notes:
•Work hours may include days and evenings on weekdays and weekends. Subject to normal office environmental conditions. Will likely require frequent overnight travel.
