As a Business Development Manager at Trident Industries, you will play a key role in driving company growth by identifying new business opportunities, fostering relationships with potential clients, and leading strategic initiatives that expand our service offerings. This position requires a proactive, results-oriented leader who can develop and execute business strategies while effectively collaborating across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
•Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
•Analyze market data to develop actionable insights and strategies for business growth.
•Develop and maintain a database of contacts that include industry connections.
•Identify and engage potential clients through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
•Develop and implement comprehensive business development plans that align with Trident Industries' goals and objectives.
•Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create effective marketing campaigns and sales strategies.
•Prepare and present compelling proposals, contracts, and bids to prospective clients.
•Negotiate terms and agreements with clients to secure profitable contracts.
•Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure successful delivery of services and maintain client satisfaction.
•Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise to ensure client expectations are met.
•Track and report on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends.
•Provide regular updates and feedback to senior management on business development initiatives and outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills:
•Experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management, preferably in the civil engineering, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
•Proven track record of identifying, developing, and closing business opportunities.
•Strong understanding of industry trends, key players, and market dynamics.
•Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
•Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and market analysis tools.
•Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
