Atlas Fibre is seeking a proactive and experienced Business Development Manager to lead and elevate our Inside Sales team. This role is pivotal in driving team performance, maintaining pipeline visibility, and ensuring that high-impact opportunities are communicated across departments. The Sales Manager will work closely with the COO to align sales execution with company-wide priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
•Directly manage and develop the Inside Sales team, fostering accountability and a culture of continuous improvement.
•Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and training to improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
•Support team members in managing quotes, follow-ups, and customer relationships.
Sales Operations & Deal Oversight
•Ensure all leads, quotes, and deals are entered and maintained accurately in the CRM.
•Track key metrics, including lead conversion rates, quoting volume, and win/loss trends.
•Maintain clear visibility into the sales pipeline, proactively identifying high-value opportunities.
Cross-Functional Communication
•Act as the central point of coordination for large or strategic deals—keeping stakeholders (including Operations, Engineering, Finance, and the Executive team) informed.
•Collaborate with the COO to identify and remove operational roadblocks to sales execution.
Reporting & Forecasting
•Produce regular sales performance reports, forecasting trends and revenue based on current activity.
•Communicate wins, challenges, and customer feedback to executive leadership for strategic alignment.
Qualifications
•Minimum 5 years of experience in sales leadership, preferably within industrial manufacturing, machining, or materials distribution.
•Strong command of CRM platforms and experience managing sales pipelines.
•Proven ability to coach and motivate sales teams.
•High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
•Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
•Knowledge of thermoset composites or high-performance plastics is advantageous but not required.
