Job Summary:

we’re looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with construction industry experience—ideally in solar—to help us maintain accurate financial records and support our day-to-day operations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

•

Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable

•

Process invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments

•

Handle bank reconciliations and credit card transactions

•

Prepare and maintain financial reports, ledgers, and journal entries

•

Manage payroll processing for the company

•

Track job costs and construction project budgets

•

Monitor retention payments, change orders, and lien releases

•

Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate billing and cost tracking

•

Support month-end and year-end closing procedures

•

Coordinate with CPA or external accounting firm as needed

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

•

2+ years of bookkeeping experience in the construction or trades industry

•

Experience with solar installation companies strongly preferred

•

Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel

•

Familiarity with construction-specific accounting practices, including job costing and progress billing

•

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

•

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

•

Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset

Job Location: This job requires you to be in our Hayward office everyday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
