Boiler Mechanic / Welder

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and energetic Boiler Mechanic / Welder to join our industrial maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting boiler systems and related equipment to ensure optimal operation. Your expertise in welding and mechanical knowledge will be essential.

You must be able to pass a 6G Welding test.

Duties

- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on boilers and related mechanical equipment

- Weld and fabricate parts using various welding techniques to repair or modify equipment as needed

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities

- Document all work performed meticulously in service reports and maintenance logs

Experience

- Proven experience as an industrial mechanic.

- Skilled in welding techniques

- Familiarity with reading schematics, technical drawings, and mechanical diagrams

- Experience working in industrial maintenance environments with a focus on boilers or large-scale machinery

- Knowledge of safety protocols related to boiler operation, welding practices, and industrial maintenance procedures

Pay: $30.96 - $42.00 per hour
