Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Boiler Mechanic to join our industrial maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting boiler systems and related mechanical equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations across our facilities.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on boilers, including checking pressure gauges, valves, burners, and safety devices to ensure optimal operation.

- Troubleshoot and repair boiler systems, hydraulics, HVAC/R components, and associated mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.

- Conduct diagnostics on complex mechanical issues related to industrial boilers and implement effective solutions promptly.

- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and system performance logs for compliance and reporting purposes.

- Collaborate with team members to coordinate repairs and ensure minimal disruption to operations.

- Follow all safety protocols related to boiler operation, handling hazardous materials, and working in confined or elevated spaces.

- Assist with installation projects, upgrades, or modifications of boiler systems as needed to improve efficiency or meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or boiler technician with a strong background in boiler systems maintenance and repair.

- Solid mechanical knowledge encompassing hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, schematics reading, and general industrial maintenance practices.

- Familiarity with troubleshooting tools and techniques specific to boilers and related equipment in an industrial setting.

- Strong safety awareness with adherence to industry regulations and company policies.

Welding capabilities preferred.

Pay: $24.77 - $36.33 per hour
