The Account Manager position allows the opportunity to experience the challenges and rewards of working for a new startup that provides innovative services to the Oil & Gas and On-road trucking industries.
This role requires at least 4 years of outside sales experience in preferably industrial, Oilfield services, or related markets. Candidate will demonstrate experience in developing knowledge, discipline, and skills in order to generate sales for natural gas fuel driven related oilfield equipment, on-road trucking, and services.
- Reporting to Vice President of Sales or leadership team, the role will help identify and cultivate opportunities for Comanche in on-road, completions, midstream, and drilling solutions and adjacent markets to achieve organization goals and key metrics to displace diesel
- Holds normal business hours with 85% travel expected. A few hours on weekend to be expected
- Engage new clients in sales pipeline in completions, drilling, compression, and on-road markets
- Build relationships with key influencers/ decision markets at target prospects
- Promotes strong value proposition and solutions-based sales approach
- Create client opportunities and execute to win new business on profitable terms
- Maintain a robust network of opportunities within Oracle NetSuite CRM to ensure proper coordination between Sales and Operations
- Attend industry-specific meetings or events to network, understand challenges, and applications
- Embrace understanding of negotiations and profitability analysis processes
- Manage all reporting about the health of customers' accounts
- Work cross functionally within the company to communicate with all stakeholders in customers' success
- Maintain account relationships and coordinates with operations regarding service levels
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related degree preferred
- 4+ years of previous outside sales experience in Oil& gas or related markets
- Previous work in manufacturing engineered equipment, process control, pressure regulation, valves, instrumentation would be advantageous
- Articulate and well accustomed to a client facing role
- Background in NetSuite Oracle or CRM software preferred
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Posses a network of previously satisfied clients in related markets is a plus
- Possess ability to thrive in fast pace, dynamic environment
- Proven ability to use discipline and skills to ensure reliable sales
