3rd Shift / Night Shift General Labor/Manufacturing

Beaver Steel is looking for efficient, safety-minded Laborers for full time positions at plant in Carnegie, PA. Applicants should have experience in an industrial environment. Laborers with special skills, such as welding and electrical knowledge, are in especially high demand. We offer competitive pay and benefits package. The ideal candidates will be capable of working with minimal oversight but willing to follow directions closely. Additionally, he or she should be familiar with industry safety standards and procedures to ensure project security.

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Handling and Moving Objects - Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.

- Performing General Physical Activities - Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such walking, stooping, and handling of materials.

- Controlling Machines and Processes - Using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes

- General Housekeeping- Must do general housekeeping in mill and on grounds.

Successful applicants need the manual dexterity to use tools and machinery, the physical strength to lift and move materials, and the stamina to remain on their feet for most of their shift. Time management is helpful in organizing work and finishing it on schedule because laborers may have to complete several tasks in one shift. Because they work in teams under supervisors, laborers also need good interpersonal skills.
