Position Summary

The Production Worker is responsible for performing a variety of tasks within the manufacturing process. This includes operating machinery, assembling products, monitoring production quality, and ensuring that production goals are met in an efficient, safe, and quality-driven manner. The Production Worker will work as part of a team ensuring the timely production of goods while adhering to all safety standards and company policies.

Responsibilities & Duties

- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the production area to ensure a safe working environment.

- Perform regular quality pre and post equipment checks.

- Report production progress and any production-related issues to supervisors or managers.

- Work closely with team members to achieve production targets and deadlines.

- Assists with set up, break down, and changeovers during casting.

- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards before packaging or shipping.

- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Experience in an industrial manufacturing or production environment, preferred.

- Forklift experience preferred.

- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot production issues preferred.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Work Environment

This role requires the ability to stand, kneel, crawl, climb and bend for extended periods of time. This role will primarily work on the plant production floor and will require the ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds, and will be exposed to fluctuations in temperature.
