Taber Extrusions Russellville, AR is a diverse manufacturer of extruded aluminum products with a successful history of over 50 years in the Russellville community. Currently, Taber is seeking an Customer Service Representative to join our Team Taber and grow with us. At Taber, our Customer Service Representatives are the lifeblood of our Sales Operation. Handling customer RFQ’s, Purchase Orders and Claims, our Customer Sales Representatives work closely with internal and external stakeholders as well as within the Taber Sales Organization to deliver the extrusions our customers need.
SUMMARY
Processes RFQ’s, orders, claims and interacts with internal and external stakeholders by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Checks purchase orders against quotes for correct pricing.
- Effectively communicates by email or phone to the customer any pricing or production concerns, delays in shipments, or possible shortages of material.
- Writes or types order forms, or enters data into computer, to determine total cost of customer.
- Records or files copy of orders received according to expected delivery date.
- Send credit applications to customers.
- Routes orders to departments for filling and follows up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates.
- Assists Sales Manager and Inside Sales Representatives with various other tasks as assigned.
- Answers the telephone and directs calls to the appropriate person
- Departmental filing and other clerical duties as assigned
- Must be willing to be a team leader and assist the Department Manager as needed.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office with strong emphasis in Excel and work within company ERP system.
- Must possess strong math skills.

- Demonstrate basic business acumen

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- BA or BS in related field, or 5 years of equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment or related field.
