Yard Manager

Sims Steel is family owned & operated company that has been in business over 50 years & is rapidly expanding that is looking for qualified yard manager. This individual must have experience working in a steel shop with knowledge of steel shapes & sizes, loading & unloading delivery trucks by use of overhead crane. We are looking for someone who can work both individually and as a team to accomplish the day to day functions of the shop.

Day to day functions include but are not limited to:

- off-loading deliveries

- loading our trucks for deliveries

- double checking material before sending and accepting deliveries

- maintaining inventory

- putting inventory away

- cleaning & painting steel before shipment

- picking & packing orders getting ready for delivery

- keeping the shop and driveway clean, clear, and safe.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
