Welder/Fitter/Fabricator

Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine welding requirements

- Perform welding and fitting tasks according to specifications

- Operate welding equipment, such as MIG, TIG, or arc welders, to join metal components

- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and fabricate metal parts

- Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure quality and accuracy

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Welder/Fitter

- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of welding techniques

- Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, and other equipment for material handling

- Experience with plasma cutting and other metal fabrication processes

- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Valid welding certification preferred but not required

- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, bending)

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues
