Welder/Fitter

Job Overview

Pelet Welding, Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder / Fitter to join our team. This is a full-time role with a standard schedule of 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM).

Key Responsibilities

- Blueprints & Specs: Reviewing blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements.

- Preparation: Measuring and cutting materials accurately.

- Assembly: Fitting and welding materials according to specific customer specifications.

- Physical Labor: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Welding Skills: Proficiency in FCAW, SMAW, GTAW, or GMAW is required. SAW proficiency a plus.

- Experience: Previous experience in structural steel production is preferred but not required.

- Compensation: The wage is based on experience and ability, ranging from $18.00 - $26.00 per hour.

Experience:

- Welding: 3 years (Required)

- FCAW: 1 year (Preferred)

- MIG welding: 1 year (Preferred)

- TIG welding: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (Preferred)
