High school or equivalent required. Responsibilities may include the following: Communicate well with others and maintain a positive attitude while at work. Set up and operate TIG and Mig welding machine. Cut metal on saw (bar stock, tubing, plate, extruded shapes, structural steel, etc.) to dimensions and angles required to fabricate. Must be able to read and interpret shop drawing. Must be proficient with a tape measure and protractor. Other duties which may be assigned by management include receiving material, operate the forklift, general upkeep of equipment and tools, assisting in maintaining the shop cleanliness and organization, work as a team player with others to accomplish projects, lift 60+ lbs., and read, write and speak English. Not needed to apply but a plus: operate CNC shear; will be taught if needed.
40 hours per week from 8 am - 5 pm M-F with lunch from 12-1.
We are willing to work with someone in trade school as an Apprenticeship full or part time.
