Welder/Fabricator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with experience in various welding techniques. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality standards while adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

- Perform welding on various materials.

- Interpret blueprints and schematics to fabricate components according to specifications.

- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters.

- Conduct pipe threading and assembly tasks as required.

- Utilize calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precision in fabrication.

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality standards.

- Follow ASME codes & standards during all welding and fabrication processes.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

- Proven experience in construction site environments is preferred.

- Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, and soldering techniques.

- Familiarity with rigging practices and mechanical knowledge is essential.

- Ability to operate forklifts safely within the manufacturing setting.

- Strong understanding of basic math principles for accurate measurements and calculations.

- Experience with machining processes is a plus.

- Knowledge of crane operation is beneficial for material handling tasks.
