We’re growing and we need passionate, skilled individuals to grow with us. We are currently seeking a Welder/Fabricator in for our Landsdale, PA facility.
Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves working with various materials and tools to create high-quality products that meet industry standards. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials including sheet metal and pipe.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks.
- Conduct assembly of components according to specifications while adhering to ASME codes & standards.
- Operate cranes and forklifts for material handling as required.
- Execute rigging tasks safely and effectively.
- Measure materials using calipers and micrometers to ensure precision in fabrication.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools are properly stored after use.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication within a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Familiarity with various welding techniques including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and MIG welding.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Experience with ductwork fabrication is preferred.
- Proficient in using basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to projects.
- Ability to operate machinery such as forklifts, press brake machines, and plasma cutting equipment safely.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
