Welder/Fabricator

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a manufacturing environment.

Duties

- Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials, ensuring strong and precise welds.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to fabricate components accurately.

- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery including press brake machines and plasma cutters.

- Utilize calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure precision in fabrication tasks.

- Assemble parts and components according to specifications, ensuring quality standards are met.

- Conduct rigging operations safely when lifting heavy materials using cranes or forklifts.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while meeting deadlines.

Requirements

- Proven experience in welding and fabrication within a manufacturing or construction environment.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics.

- Familiarity with ductwork assembly and installation is a plus.

- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.

- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is preferred but not required.

- Experience with machining processes is advantageous.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
