Welder and Fabricator

Birmingham Hot Metal Coatings in Midfield, Alabama is looking to hire an experienced Welder/Fabricator. Applicants must be able to fit-up and weld up custom fabricated projects based on drawings/blueprints and use equipment/tools such as a plasma cutter, acetylene torch, band saw, overhead crane and forklift. A minimum of five (5) years in a comparable position is strongly preferred.

Applicants will be subject to preemployment and random drug screens as well as a preemployment background check.

Starting salary will be a minimum of $24/hour or more determined by the qualifications of the applicant. HMC offers a good benefit package to established employees including paid vacation, health insurance plans, 401K, work uniforms, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
