Welder and Fabricator

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in MIG, TIG, and stick welding, as well as reading blueprints and fabricating metal parts to exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

- Set up and operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Stick)

- Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components

- Measure, cut, and shape materials using hand tools, torches, and machinery

- Inspect finished work for accuracy, quality, and safety compliance

- Maintain equipment and keep the work area clean and organized

- Follow all company and OSHA safety standards

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a welder/fabricator (3+ years preferred)

- Proficiency with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and shop blueprints

- Experience with grinders, plasma cutters, shears, and other metalworking tools

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods

- Certification in welding (preferred but not required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
