About Island Gold District: Alamos Gold’s Island Gold District will become one of the largest and lowest-cost gold mines in Canada. With the two mines within the district, Island Gold and Magino employ over 900 team members who work in the underground and open pit operations and are located in northern Ontario, just east of the town of Dubreuilville, 83 kilometres northeast of Wawa. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Student will support the department with the receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution of critical operational materials required to support mine operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Labor work as prescribed by the Warehouse Dept which may include:

- Receiving, storage and distribution of consumables

- Supporting inventory management activities (cycle counts, inventory audits)

- Organize Material storage

- Assist with material management

- Assist Warehouse Technicians with various tasks

Qualifications:

- At least 18 years of age

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Cross cultural work experience is an asset.

- Excellent time management and organization skills including ability to prioritise.

- Able to work independently and as part of a team

- Available to work fluctuating schedules

Working Conditions

- 7 on / 7 off

- Pay Rate $20.75 hr - 25.93 hr
