Full Job Description

We are looking for a Production worker to contribute to our warehouse operations and activities. Production worker responsibilities include receiving incoming shipments, storing materials, picking, packing and shipping orders, and accurately transcribing the information for billing. You will also be cutting orders to size on specialized cutting and slitting equipment, for which we will train you.

Hours of operation:

- Monday - Friday: 8 am to 5:00 pm

Responsibilities

- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)

- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)

- Lift, lower and slide materials weighing 50 lbs or more.

- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization

- Report any discrepancies

- Measure sheets and weigh orders for billing

- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers

- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment

- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Skills

- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods

- Good organizational and time management skills

- Ability to lift heavy objects
