Location: Escalon, CA Job Type: Full-Time | In-Person Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift | Overtime as needed
Summary:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse operations including picking, packing, receiving, stocking, assembling, and shipping products. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals looking to build a career in warehouse and distribution operations. The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety and accuracy.
- Accurately retrieve, pick, pack, and label products based on customer orders
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
- Stock and organize products on shelving and in designated locations
- Perform inventory counts and stock checks
- Assemble products as required for shipping or inventory
- Weigh, measure, and dimension packages accurately and relay information to warehouse management
- Maintain proper documentation and note out-of-stock items or discrepancies
- Clean and inspect products before shipment to ensure quality
- Assist with general warehouse cleaning and upkeep, including bathroom and garbage removal
- Operate hand tools and non-motorized equipment such as pallet jacks
- Communicate effectively with the warehouse supervisor and team members
- Demonstrate basic product knowledge (e.g., pipe and tube sizes, gauges, manufacturing components)
- Perform additional duties as assigned by authorized personnel
- High school diploma or GED required
- 0–2 years of warehouse, general labor, or related experience
- Forklift certification is a plus, but not required
- Basic knowledge of warehouse tools (e.g., grinder, drill, skill saw) preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, and move throughout the shift
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate weight, percentages, and use measurements
- Strong reasoning ability to follow procedures and solve routine issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching
- Frequent handling of heavy materials up to 50 lbs
- Ability to use of hands and arms for reaching, handling, and operating tools
- Visual abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and depth perception
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor warehouse environments
- Exposure to loud noise, moving mechanical parts, welding arcs, and airborne particles
- May work on concrete surfaces and be exposed to outdoor weather conditions
- Must be comfortable working around electrical components with appropriate safety measures
- Hourly Pay: $20- $23 (Based on Experience)
