The Warehouse II Worker plays a crucial role in supporting manufacturing operations by managing parts inventories, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and maintaining accurate stock documentation. This position requires attention to detail, physical agility, and proficiency in operating material handling equipment.
- Count, weigh, and record the number of units of material moved or handled during daily production.
- Attach identifying tags or labels to materials and containers.
- Load products onto freight carrier vehicles.
- Safely lift heavy objects within acceptable weight limitations using forklifts, cranes, hoists, or by hand.
- Pull parts to maintain inventory levels in assembly cells.
- Conduct cycle counts as requested by the supervisor.
- Locate materials and expedite part shortages within the plant.
- Verify and maintain accurate stock documentation and shortage reports.
- Utilize small hand tools and operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, skids, pallet handlers, cranes, and hand trucks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality.
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. regularly and work in environments with noise, dust, and chemicals.
- Must adhere to safety protocols, including wearing safety glasses, safety shoes, and earplugs.
- Capable of performing physical tasks associated with warehouse activities.
- Experience with computer applications such as Excel and SAP is advantageous.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, hand trucks, and other relevant equipment.
- Proficient in basic mathematical calculations and computer usage for daily tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.
