Underground Utility Backhoe Operator

Precision Utility LLC, a thriving Texas Based Municipal Operations & Construction Company experiencing explosive growth, is looking for a team oriented minded, experienced, and certified backhoe operator. The ideal candidate will lead a crew performing maintenance and construction services for water, sewer, & drainage facilities both underground utilities and facility maintenance. Candidate will be required to operate a mini excavator. The ideal candidate will perform duties to ensure effective and efficient operations, require participation in on call rotation duties, maintain proper inventory in warehouse, & maintain clean rig. Our main IT Tools are, Service Fusion - paperless job and time tracking program, MS Office, Dropbox Business, TCEQ Drinking Water Watch Database, and Birdnest Data Management.

Responsibilities and Duties

Water leaks - ¾ inch to 12-inch mains up to 10 feet deep

Water Taps both residential and commercial vaults

Water line extensions & relocates

Fire hydrant repairs & installation

Sewer point repairs 3-inch to 12-inch mains, laterals, and private lines up to 10 feet deep

Sewer Taps both residential & commercial

Sewer line extension & relocates

Sewer line manhole rehabilitation & installations

Storm sewer repairs

Storm sewer extension & relocates

Storm sewer manhole rehabilitation & installations

Drainage, elevation, and grading

Concrete work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Experience:

- Heavy equipment operation: 1 year (Required)
