In this role, you’ll support the ongoing reliability and performance of the power grid by coordinating training activities that help service teams stay skilled, compliant, and prepared for the technical demands of the industry. You will manage logistics, maintain accurate training records, and oversee Learning Management System (LMS) activities—work that directly supports safe operations, workforce readiness, and continuous improvement across service functions. This position offers the chance to support teams responsible for maintaining critical energy infrastructure, contribute to training initiatives that enhance operational excellence, and ensure that training content and certification data remain accurate and accessible to the people who rely on it.
- Manage and update LMS content, user records, certifications, and training resources.
- Schedule and coordinate training sessions, including logistics, materials, and communication.
- Maintain accurate training records for compliance and operational needs.
- Generate data reports on training completions, metrics, and compliance status.
- Support employees with LMS access, registration, and training requirements.
- Prepare, distribute, and track training materials and resources.
- Steer improvements to training processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor compliance‑related training to ensure completions remain on schedule.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in a related field is a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience in training coordination, LMS administration, or data management.
- Skilled in LMS systems and MS Office Suite, especially Excel for data tracking and reporting.
- Experience in recordkeeping, data management, or training support in a corporate or industrial setting.
- Familiarity with regulated or service‑focused operational environments.
- Knowledge of ISO or similar compliance standards is beneficial.
